Loan Processor Associate I (Seasonal)

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Summary

Responsible for supporting the team by performing a variety of loan documentation duties such as data entry, following up and communicating with internal staff, performing outreach to applicants via email to obtain missing or updated loan documentation. *Equipment not provided

Expectations

  • Analyze a variety of documents uploaded as part of the loan origination process
  • Interact with the CampusDoor proprietary loan origination platform to complete processing tasks, notate accounts and review documents
  • Engage in outbound communication with applicants – email, text and chat
  • Learn about various loan programs, cross-training different processes and assisting colleagues wherever possible
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and management team to ask questions
  • Assist with new product and testing program as needed
  • Able to provide a desktop or laptop computer and a strong home or private internet connection
  • Chromebooks are not compatible with Amazon Work Space
  • Maintain a private workspace that is quiet and free of distractions

Education – Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum age requirement of 18
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively interact with applicants and various departments within the organization
  • Prior loan processing experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with computers, Internet and MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude, while managing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality and professionalism

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $33,280 inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
